Circa: Of days of construction of exhibit at Eli Whitney Museum about Leonardo DaVinci and so of days before Leonardo DiCaprio "credits" near Titanic. Stays my last poem in my collection of letters and political poetry in my THE CHARGE OF NEW FEDERALISM and is so to being a poem as much about Middle East and prices and flows of oil and as of prices of oil drums also "roll." It is not meant to be conclusive of any religion but a piece of art to discuss faiths and interfaith bridgeable issues. At time of such construction all also in THE CHARGE OF NEW FEDERALISM was likely also not to a justification reasonable to PEACE DIVIDENDS for the nineties and written more both before "Barry" Obama may have been first with DREAM OF MY FATHER in print and before even Clintons' "two-fer" was much in 1992 race or yet to a consideration as a realistic challenger.
Such collection of my THE CHARGE OF NEW FEDERALISM starts, out of sequence, with poem LOS ANGELES. Such is because it is both my piece for covering Rodney King events and for its emphasis as of America then with cities on fire and to then mixed and concluded with "WITH A BUSH - ON FIRE - WHAT DID WE SEE?" as much also an interfaith construct also about neurology of "taking the heat" and specifically to concerns raised by President George H. W. Bush with his wondering at Lincoln Memorial near "I wonder if I too can take the heat as did Lincoln." Sad, for America, and the world maybe, is that Clintons seemed to know of all of such and yet chose the one meaning allowed but not meant as the one they prefered - and so to a personal and basic about the author though such was specifically the unintended import that a wise leader would have preserved as none of their business.
Neither poem DRUMS ROLL or LOS ANGELES are supposed to have any lasting weight or relevant meaning to THE CHARGE OF NEW FEDERALISM as simply personal or basic and specific to its author. They are political poems for our times and seeming real domestic and foreign security concerns to a new political correctness at least at home - Clintons may not have been able to help themselves - they made such a mess and while seeming so to the one meaning they shouldn't have paid any attention to.
If you missed an intended meaning of first stanza as applicable to the Suez Canal then you likely missed one of multiple meanings meant and as of my THE CHARGE OF NEW FEDERALISM and use of "credits" about how I was expectant and derserving of "credit" from Clintons.
